Advantages Enrollment At Jindal IVF and Sant Memorial Nursing Home: We start a small batch (comprising of 5-10 cases) every fortnight. You can see these dates on our website. A couple can enroll in a batch which follows the next expected period. You can also be enrolled for batches which start even one or two weeks after menses. In case of older women (more than 35 years) or with decreased ovarian reserve, menses have to coinside with the batch date.Menses date can also be advacned or preponed with the help of oral contraceptive pills or hormones if taken well in advance.Once you decide to come, contact the center by e-mail , telephone or through a local contact person. Send all your records including the menstrual cycle details.Enroll in a batch to confirm all the dates before you book the tickets. In case of donor egg cycle, the batch has to be decided according to the menses date of the donor. Menses of recipient have to be adjusted accordingly. For enrollment, some advance fee needs to be paid 10-15 days before the start of batch. First visit: The first visit should be at least 8-10 days before the starting of the batch.During this period the pending investigations are done. The injections which are given to control the menstrual cycle (down regulation) are also started. If there is a severe time constraint, then a different type of stimulation protocol (without down regulation) can also be started. In this case the first visit can be scheduled few days before expected menses. Out of batch can be doen with some extra fee. Total duration of stay in India :The IVF procedure is done 12-16 days after the batch start date and pregnancy test is done almost a month after the batch start date. The safest period to travel during pregnancy is either during very early pregnancy or in the 4th, 5th month. Male partner is required only during the procedure i.e. 10-14 days after the batch start date. Even a frozen semen sample can be used which can be stored during a previous visit. Total visits to hospital: No admission is required. One day admission is required on ovum pick up and embryo transfer day. Otherwise, 3-5 visits are required for monitoring the response to injections.
