Obstetrics & Gynaecology - Assisted Reproduction Techniques
 
 
Gynae & Fertility Research centerThe GFC was started by Dr. Jindal in December 1989 at the Chandigarh Medical Centre founded by late Dr. P.N. Chhuttani the former Director of PGI, Chandigarh.

IVF was started at this center in 1995. The first IVF baby was born in 1996. The current success rate with IVF at the center is upto 40-50 %. IntraCytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) has been introduced since 2001.The first ICSI baby was born in 2002. The center has now shifted to a new building at 3050- sector 20-D.
A state of ART, IVF lab has been constructed with all the latest equipment.
