As we celebrate the 29th founder’s day and enter the 30th year of our existence, team Jindal IVF is looking forward to the next year with enthusiasm.

For the 4th consecutive year the centre has maintained its lead in the Times of India rating and remains at the first position for IVF centres among single speciality hospitals in the north and at 14th position nationally.

Our vision is the creation of a centre of excellence in IVF technology to provide the latest and best treatment in the most ethical and economical way, which is exemplified in our motto, ‘ethics with excellence’.

The centre boasts of a team of 12 young and dedicated IVF specialists working under the leadership of Dr Umesh Jindal, who is a pioneer in the field. The centre has been established since 1989 and was the brainchild of Dr. Jindal, who after training at PGI Chandigarh and WHO, had a passion to bring latest technology to the doorstep of patients.

The centre has now developed super specialities of advanced IVF in accordance with new developments and advancements and is the only centre in this region to offer these facilities.

Cutting edge technology is now available at the centre with the establishment of the Genetics unit. The team leader is Dr Sheetal Jindal an IVF and PGT specialist, Dr Ritika Bajaj fetal medicine expert and Dr Sangeeta a postdoctoral fellow in Genetics.

We plan to increase the awareness and acceptance of this fast expanding field. The full spectrum of care right from preconception through pregnancy and postnatal care will be provided.

The team of Dr Swati Verma, Dr Poonam Patel, and Dr Alka Singla are working in the field of fertility preservation and oncofertility. Fertility preservation is a fast developing field and has given hope and purpose of life to many young couples suffering from cancer. The centre with the help of tricity forum for fertility preservation has been entrusted with the task of organizing the 5th national conference on fertility preservation.

To empower the team of embryologists in the acquiring the proficiency of in embryo biopsy a training program has been scheduled at the centre with the help of expert embryologists from the USA in February 2019.

Dr Ajitabh Shukla under the leadership of Dr Anupam Gupta is now working actively in the field of male infertility. The team plans to consolidate their gains in the field by increasing the role of male infertility diagnosis and treatment.

There is a full-fledged state of the art WHO certified male infertility lab – Andros Diagnostics – at the backend for support.

Dr Nidhi Sharma with her team of Dr Shikha and Dr Peri is working on newer modalities to improve the endometrium. Therapy with platelet rich plasma (PRP) and other treatments is on the anvil.

Besides providing advanced techniques we are also expanding horizontally. Our team of expert doctors is taking the services to many remote areas of Himachal Pradesh. We plan to expand in J & K also in 2019.

The centre is actively pursuing accreditation from NABH and hope to complete the process in 2019.

Besides the national conference on fertility preservation the ‘Fertiprotect’ we plan to hold an endoscopy update and the long standing ART update, which is an annual event for the past many years.
