Whether you are planning to have kids now, soon, or later down the road, it’s not a bad idea to go through a female fertility test now.

Even though men are just as responsible for infertility, doesn’t mean infertility in women is any less important. In fact female infertility is the overall issue in a third of infertility cases. So it’s important that we take a look at the female fertility cycle and know some signs before doing a female fertility test.

One of the most common ones for testing is not being able to get pregnant after a year of unprotected sex. That being said, there are faster methods to finding infertility in women.

Your Flow Is Off

A lot of these signs tend to revolve mostly around your period. The first big sign is seeing that the flow is off. In this case if you’ve noticed your periods being heavier than usual it could be an underlying sign of female infertility. As mentioned above the only way for certain to know that is to see female fertility doctors.

Irregular Periods

Irregular periods may be a sign you are not ovulating which means you can’t get pregnant. This particular issue accounts for about 30 to 40 percent of infertility in women cases. Fortunately though there is a female infertility treatment set up to help fix this. You’ll need of course the help of female fertility doctors.

No Periods at All

There are some medications out there that you can willingly take to stop your periods. Barring situations like that (along with pregnancy), if you’ve never had a period or you’ve suddenly stopped, this can be a clear sign you are infertile. As mentioned above, a lack of periods means a lack in ovulating.

The reasons for not ovulating can be vast, but you want to check with your gynecologist to be sure about the whole thing. Your periods stopping could be for a whole other reason. It’s hard to say.

Painful Periods

Pain during periods don’t always indicate infertility in women. At the same time though, those kinds of pains aren’t always dead giveaway signs of female infertility.

It’s more of a cause for concern if you are experiencing serious pain during your period,  or while having sex. Furthermore pain in the rectal area or noticing any abnormal vaginal bleeding or blood in the urine is another major concern.

Again, check with one of many female fertility doctors and have them conduct a female fertility test to make sure.

Conclusion

Female infertility treatment has come a long way from where it was before. If you are infertile, it is certainly a disappointing thing, however there are many options that you can consider to work around that issue.
