FIRST GENETIC TESTING (PGD/T) PATIENT DELIVERED SUCCESSFULLY

It’s a proud moment for all of us at Jindal IVF that our first PGD/T case has delivered successfully with a healthy baby. There is a strong family history of Down’s Syndrome and the parents wanted to avoid this disease in their next child.

What we did: We did complete genetic profiling of the parents before pregnancy. Then an IVF procedure was performed from which 7 embryos were formed. By extremely advanced techniques it was found that 6 embryos were abnormal while one was normal. The abnormal embryos were discarded while the normal embryo was implanted in the mother and now we have the result!

We wish to congratulate the couple who despite having problems had the courage to search for an answer and wish there special baby the best for the life forward.
